POSITIONS:
- Positions for the Training Program in
the Molecular Bases of Eye Diseases are currently
open.
- Qualified applicants should write to
Karen
Jarvis or contact one of the faculty
mentors to arrange for application.
- Support is provided by an institutional
training grant for one year. During the course of the first
year, trainees are guided in writing grants for an individual
NRSA, and/or other postdoctoral fellowships. Individual
fellowships, sponsor support, or institutional support is
provided for the second year. A minimal two year commitment
to the training Program is required.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D.
and be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
- Funding is not available through this program for candidates
with dual M.D., Ph.D. degrees, or more than two years of
postdoctoral experience.
- Applicants must select a faculty
mentor and establish the mentor's willingness to supervise
research and training.

Selection Committee after review of the CV, graduate record,
letters of recommendation, documentation of publication,
and the proposed research program.
